Youth Advocacy
Certification Program

The Youth Advocacy Certification Program is a unique initiative developed by the Tri-County Human Trafficking Task Force to empower high school students with the knowledge and tools to combat human trafficking and advocate for awareness within their communities.

Through this program, students will:

  1. Complete the TrafficProofSC Training: Gain a comprehensive understanding of human trafficking, its impact, and how to recognize and respond to signs of exploitation.

  2. Participate in a “Know Your Rights” Session: Learn essential legal and personal rights to help protect themselves and others.

  3. Engage in a Capstone Project: Apply their knowledge by designing a community-focused project of their choice to raise awareness about human trafficking.

Upon completion, students will earn the Tri-County Human Trafficking Task Force Certified Youth Advocate designation, equipping them to make a meaningful difference in their schools and communities.
